Stella Carter is the Senior Director of Branding and Marketing at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH), where she leads the organization’s creative direction and visual identity. She oversees the creation and implementation of comprehensive branding strategies, ensuring a unified and impactful presence across all platforms.
Her work spans a wide range of design and marketing touchpoints, including visual branding, advertising, UX/UI digital solutions, social media, and promotional materials, shaping how ASPPH communicates its mission to the public health community and beyond.
With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, Stella is an active member of both the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and the American Marketing Association (AMA). She holds an ITIL Foundation Certification as well as Digital Marketing and Social Media Certifications from HubSpot, and she completed a 10-week intensive in UX Design through General Assembly.
Stella earned her Master of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Boston University. Outside of work, she draws inspiration from family camping adventures, local theater performances, and training for her next 5K
