Melissa Meadows serves as the Director of Public Health Continuing Education at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH). In this role, Melissa is responsible for implementing, managing, and evaluating ASPPH workforce development and continuing education efforts housed within the ASPPH Center for Public Health Workforce Development.
Melissa brings many years of experience in sexual and reproductive health education, K-12 education, professional development, and project management to ASPPH. She is passionate about advancing health equity and serves as a board member of the Virginia Public Health Association.
Melissa received her Master of Public Health from East Tennessee State University, Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Earlham College. In her spare time, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her family.
