Dr. Colleen McNicholas from Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region will present her talk: “Predictable and Preventable – The Public Health Crisis of Abortion Bans” as the October installment of the Public Health Speaker Series. The event will stream live from Brown Lounge. Seating is limited, so we encourage early registration and RSVPs. Dr. McNicholas is a graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, her Fellowship in Family Planning, and her Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation at Washington University School of Medicine, in St. Louis. She remained on faculty there for six years achieving the rank of Associate Professor before joining Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri as the first ever Chief Medical Officer. In this role she has worked to expand clinical services to Planned Parenthood’s patient population, notably expanding access to PREP, gender affirming care, and abortion access. |
