ASPPH commends the Senate for the passing of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which includes provisions impacting deficit reduction, healthcare, and climate change. Climate change is possibly the most significant global challenge of the 21st century, with the potential to irrevocably alter the planet and the population’s health unless there is sufficient and immediate action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
