Ms. Linda Taliaferro, CAE is a seasoned non-profit executive with over 15 years of leadership experience in organizations of all sizes. Currently, Ms. Taliaferro serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health, where she oversees the organization's daily operations and strategic initiatives. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).

In early 2021, Ms. Taliaferro founded Iron Cutter Consulting, a specialized firm providing interim CEO/Executive Director services to associations undergoing transitions. Her clients included the American String Teachers Association and the National Communication Association.

With her passion for improving healthcare quality and equity, servant leadership, and results-driven outcomes, Ms. Taliaferro has held several leadership positions in the non-profit sector. She has served as the Chief Executive Officer at the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons in Alexandria, VA, Executive Director for the Emergency Department Practice Management Association in McLean, VA, Senior Director of Health Policy at the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Alexandria, VA, and Senior Staff Associate at the Association of American Medical Colleges in Washington, DC. Through these roles, Ms. Taliaferro has gained expertise in budgeting and finance, strategic planning, membership, meetings/events, non-profit law, coalitions, advocacy, marketing, human resources, and governance.

Ms. Taliaferro holds a Master’s in Health Care Management from Marymount University and a Bachelor’s in Management from Stetson University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, archery, traveling, painting, horseback riding, and volunteering with a local animal rescue group. With her unique combination of skills, experience, and passion for mission-driven work, Ms. Taliaferro continues to be a sought-after leader in the non-profit sector.
