1. What has been the single most rewarding experience of your career/studies so far?

The most rewarding experience in my studies was participating in the Undergraduate Research Award Program at Oregon State University. I applied and was selected to work with a professor in their lab on a research project for two terms. At the end, I designed and presented a poster on the findings of my research project with the help of my professor. I learned a lot from this experience and felt like it was what solidified my choice to attend graduate school.

2. What do you think is the biggest challenge that the public health field should be focusing on?

I think the biggest challenges that the field of public health should be focusing on are 1) vaccinations, 2) family planning, and 3) environment health.
