1.       In one sentence, what is public health to you?

Public health is all efforts aimed at helping people live their healthiest lives.

2.       What inspired you to study public health?

When I realized that my research could inform policy and thus have an impact at the population level, I knew public health was for me.

3.       What has been the single most rewarding experience of your career/studies so far?

The most rewarding experience is being able to meet so many passionate students with a variety of interests and work with them on a daily basis.

4.       What is the one piece of advice you wish someone had given you when you were starting out in public health?

I wish someone would have told me to become fluent in a reference manager.

5.       What do you think is the biggest challenge that the public health field should be focusing on?

Public health should focus on development and utilization of patient-centered therapies.
