ASPPH’s Task Force on Zero Tolerance of Discrimination and Harassment is focused on leading our efforts to eliminate cultural and structural racism in academic public health. Through the development of a framework that outlines the major changes needed to rethink and rebuild processes, procedures, and policies, we are empowering our faculty, staff, and students to dismantle racism in public health institutions.

Building upon the original 2011-2015 Framing the Future initiative, ASPPH has launched Framing the Future 2030 to transform and improve education for public health. The initiative focuses on inclusive excellence through an anti-racism lens, expanding the reach, visibility, and impact of the field of academic public health, and the creation and adoption of transformative educational models and pedagogy.

Our climate Change Task Force is charged with developing a framework through which ASPPH and our members can approach climate change from an academic public health lens. This Framework will provide a forward-looking blueprint developing a template for action to address climate change.
