Today is National Gun Violence Awareness Day, which takes on special significance in the wake of numerous recent mass shootings. As the leading voice in academic public health, ASPPH will continue to speak out, advocate for gun safety laws and actively support our member institutions’ ongoing efforts to stop gun violence through research, intervention, and publication. We urge our members to wear orange on June 3 and through the weekend.
