Nick Mahoney, MS

Nick Mahoney is the Director of Student and Alumni Engagement at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) and has been with ASPPH since January 2019. Nick works with current students, graduates, and staff from our member institutions to share the opportunities and experiences of those working in the public health field. He manages the This Is Public Health brand and its social media accounts that promote public health awareness and educate about the diverse opportunities in the field.

Before joining the field of academic public health, Nick worked in higher education administration since 2007, specializing in alumni relations, admissions, and student life. His dedication to professional growth led him to earn an MS in Higher Education Administration from Buffalo State University. In 2022, Nick continued his passion for lifelong learning by graduating from the prestigious Leadership Greater Washington's Rising Leaders Program.
