Monica González Stadtler

Director of Graduate Training Programs

Ms. Monica González Stadtler provides strategic direction and management oversight for ASPPH Fellowship and Internship programs. As Director of Graduate Training Programs, she has more than 20 years of experience developing and managing mentored training opportunities for current students and recent graduates of ASPPH-member institutions. Ms. Stadtler oversees the ASPPH/CDC Fellowship Program, the ASPPH/EPA Environmental Fellowship Program, and the ASPPH/USDA Rural Health Fellowship Program. She collaborates with governmental and non-governmental organizations to implement practice-based training programs that introduce students and recent graduates to careers in public health practice.

Ms. Stadtler brings her demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion values to the management, selection, and placement processes for the training programs. She actively engages with our partner organizations and ASPPH members to promote outreach efforts to recruit applicants from diverse racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds and a variety of life experiences. In addition, Ms. Stadtler has extensive experience in developing and implementing evaluation strategies that inform ASPPH leadership and funding partners and is responsible for managing grant program budgets and reporting to funding partners.

Ms. Stadtler holds a degree in Government from Pomona College.
