ASPPH is the voice of accredited academic public health, representing member schools and programs accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). 

As a founding corporate sponsor of CEPH, with the American Public Health Association (APHA), ASPPH appoints four councilors to serve on CEPH’s board. ASPPH collaborates closely with CEPH staff to promote high-quality accreditation standards. ASPPH achieves this objective by supporting undergraduate and graduate criteria and procedures that fit school and program goals and serve students’ learning, practice, and research needs while fulfilling their and societal expectations for excellence in education.
